Cirilo Amoros - Collection C. Kleiss
She was build in the United Kingdom with the name Corso; and flagged to Spain on 1899 when acquired by Meliton Gonzalez, who rechristened her as Primero. On 1903 she was sold to Rodriguez y Cerra S.C., being bought on 1915 by Compañía Gijonesa de Vapores. On 1916 this shipping company was acquired by Ferrer Peset Hermanos and all the fleet was integrated on it, passing on 1917 to Trasmediterránea as Peset Ferrer Hermanos was one of the companies with which Trasmediterránea was formed.
She ran aground and was lost on the Irish coast on 15 February 1926. Previously, on 1916, she had to be sunk in shallow waters at Vigo to extinguish a fire in the holds. But that time she was refloated and repaired.
